SHELTER RULES DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC
In accordance with the CDC guidelines, anyone entering our building is required to wear a mask.
We ask everyone to call from the parking lot or contact us prior to coming to the shelter. We are not equipped to maintain adequate social distancing inside the building.
Dogs: At this time families will not be able to come into the building to meet our dogs, but a visit can be arranged after completing an adoption application, which is available online at www.upebas.org or we will be happy to email one to you.
Cats: You must have a completed, approved adoption application before scheduling an appointment to greet cats. Visitors will be limited to two people at a time.
You are under no obligation to adopt once you meet the animal if you simply don't click. The above are necessary precautions for staff and clients alike.
If you have a donation, please call and we will come out to assist.
To surrender a cat or dog you must schedule an appointment. Paperwork must be emailed and completed before the appointment.
If you find a stray, please call ahead if at all possible, or call when you reach our parking lot.
